I have been training with James for 18 months now. I had previously played sport, attended the Gym and weight trained from a young age. Before seeing James I thought I knew a lot about training and keeping in shape, turns out I didn’t !. James has taught me a more body friendly way of training.
I suffered acute back pain out of the blue which got quite debilitating. James has helped me strengthen the muscles around the problem areas to a point now I rarely notice where the pain was. He’s a really nice guy which I am pleased to call a friend.
Finally, I would definitely say if you have fitness or health issues don’t hesitate to contact him. I am so glad I did.

I have been going to see James for over 18 months, he has not only trained me to feel more toned but he has been there to help me feel stronger in body and mind. As a big girl I have never stuck to anything exercise wise, but with James it's not just exercise it's how you feel after and don't feel uncomfortable doing the exercises in front of him. He is very knowledgeable. I am not ashamed to say either,I was on antidepressants before I started working with James, I have now been off my antidepressants for over a year. I do feel it's because I have built confidence in who I am and how I feel with the help of James!! All I will say is if you are a big girl please don't shy away...go and see James. 😘

I have been working with James over the past 4 months and have had phenomenal results. James has helped me rid myself back and shoulder pain that doctors and osteopaths could not. As a fairly experienced gym user I was unsure how much I could really learn from James before I met him, now I have a transformed view on training and find it laughable how little I really knew. His knowledge of training and the human body is immense and his extremely open and approachable personality make for a very comfortable training environment.
I cannot speak more highly of James, he is in a totally different league to most trainers and recommend him to anyone regardless of where you are on your health journey.

I’ve been going to James twice a week for over a year now, and I can honestly say it’s the single best thing I have done for my body and mind, probably in my life. I’m now in the best shape I ever have been and it’s been so enjoyable getting there. James is so incredibly knowledgeable and his approach is utterly tailored to you. He’s absolutely nothing like any other PT I’ve ever met, who’s just interested in getting you to do as many push ups as you can. James’ service is so, SO much more than that and it’s totally empowering. Coupled with that he is just a genuinely nice bloke and it’s a pleasure to chat with him regularly. I’ve just started attending his wife Katie’s fitness classes in the village as well and they are also brilliant. This couple deserve every success because they are the real deal and you won’t find better, we are so lucky to have them in such a small village
